	EMPLOYEE BENEFITS Hematech strives to offer a competitive benefits package to eligible employees. The benefits are reviewed and evaluated every year so that the employee gets the best opportunities available to them. Medical Benefits Our affordable health care coverage includes a prescription drug plan. We offer dental and vision coverage, flexible spending accounts, and access to an Employee Assistance Program (EAP). These coverages help protect our employees and their families, as well as balance the demands of work and life. Financial Benefits Hematech provides to the employees at no cost short term disability, long term disability and life insurance to protect them from unexpected situations. We want our employees and their families know that they have some financial benefits available if the needed arises. Future Benefits Hematech offers a 401k plan for the employees. Through this program they are able to contribute to the plan as well as receive a company match up to six percent of their salary. Employee contributions are 100 percent vested at the time of deposit to their account. The Company match is 100 percent vested at the time of its deposit to the employee accounts. Employees have an opportunity to contribute to a 529 Plan through payroll deductions. These funds are eligible for any educational expenses through an accredited college for anyone in the immediate family. Additional Benefits Hematech encourages their employees to enjoy time away from the office. A generous vacation time, personal/sick time and 10 paid holidays are provided each year. We encourage our employees to further their education through our tuition assistance program. We also provide opportunities for employees to attend conferences, seminars, workshops, training classes, etc. to further them both professionally and educationally. Other activities Our employees have formed different sporting teams such as softball, bowling and kick ball of which Hematech has sponsored each year.
